My favorite fatalities that traumatized me as a kid were Kung Lao's Hat Slice and The Pit II's fatality. Those were BRUTAL!

These girl talk bits are so good, I can't help but just read silently and watch them talk. I like that it's honest and raw, not some trivial "oh em gee did you watch this on TikTok, gurl?" thing. Nothing wrong with trivial, but I just like the dynamics of your female characters a lot.

Okay, Cossette went from "uptight bitch" look to full on villainess getup. This doesn't bode well.

    Let's fuckin' GOOOOOOOOO!!
  21. I think we should definitely make a thread regarding creator influences here some time soon! It is definitely an interesting point of discussion!
  22. Oh right! Well, you got a pretty cool selection there! Those are pretty much the same style I use for my comics, and I think Oz will definitely agree with me. The thing here is, when choosing a panel, I first want to focus on what I want the page to portray. For both Oz and I, something I noticed regarding our comic pages, is that we usually go with two panel pages if we want to focus on big images we don't want to crop too much. As in, panoramic views or something like that. Now, the image selection plays a great part on how to choose them. There is no "right or wrong" approach to what we do, even if some professionals might disagree. It all comes to what you want to emphasize. For example, the one panel pages, I use them to emphasize important things that highlight an action within the story I want to tell. For others, I'll just go with my gut since I don't have someone to advise me on how to do it. Reading a lot of manga and Hentai kinda helped me create a sense of what visuals to apply to certain scenes, so it's all up to taste and what you wish to portray!
  23. Okay, for comic creation, you can go two routes: The "official" one is to get yourself a license of Comic Life 3 by Plasq, which is the software that @Oz70NYC and I use for our stuff. That is a FANTASTIC tool with several different comic templates, fonts, styles and customization options that really can bring uniqueness to the way you tell your stories. When I started, I downloaded a cracked version of the software and I honestly wouldn't recommend going this route, since the Keygen for it is easily detected by Windows as a "virus". The software is only 30 USD as far as I can remember, so I went and bought it. I can help you out with looking for something to dip your toes into the software if you want! The second one, and a totally free alternative, is using Canva. I used that for this comic: What's kinda cool about Canva is that you can customize the text in many different ways and on any template you create, you can add blank image boxes to set up as if they were customized panels. I'm not sure if you can modify the panels to have a more angular look like in other comic books, but if you want to test it out, it can give you similar results to the comic you made. On that note, that comic is probably one of the most wholesome things I have read on this website! So, if you need help getting Comic Life, I can be of assistance. I still have the files and can help you get setup.
  24. Yes, exactly! The cool thing about the scenarios we have, is that we can focus the action on small places and that in turn helps on character development and interactions. For me, character profiles are VITAL to keep track of my people's history, actions and relationships, as well as to help me build a foundation to write stories with them, so that everybody feels unique and has their own nuances. And another one of the things that really peak my interest is videogame lore. I'm not an avid gamer, in fact I suck at them. I haven't owned a console for ages and my PS2 I bought last year hasn't gotten any use since I moved back in August. But videogame lore is super interesting to me. So in a sense, I share @SovietTiger's love of history, albeit directed more towards the fictional world. But of course, I wouldn't mind learning more about real life history, if only to make my world building improve slightly. Anime also serves as a great source of inspiration. Funny enough, Kill La Kill and its analysis on fashion, fascism and the struggle for self-acceptance is a fantastic analysis worthy of exploring. A Youtuber named Michael Saba does fantastic essays analyzing fictional works such as Kill La Kill, NieR: Automata and MGSV with such attention to detail and bringing in parallelisms from real life to those fictional worlds. In the case of MGSV, the topic of proxy wars, the interest of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe (RIP) to revoke Article 9 of the Constitution, and how heavily militarized American society has become to the point that armed officers have used violence to quell riots or civil movements. That doesn't just happen in left-leaning countries, people... But I went a bit off-topic there. The point here is, world building can be a daunting task. But I've been exposed to a large amount of media in several different formats to have an idea of what works, what doesn't, and how I want to shape my characters as I analyze the work of other creators. And being that this is at its core, a sex game, I don't want to reduce my females to tools for masturbation or fantasizing. I believe most of them have their own agency, their own personality, and at this point, the sky is the limit. I'm preparing things that you might not expect, but that I am sure you will all enjoy.
