Boucher then talked to Lacroix about getting this sword back, but that it would look like an attack on the police station by her. Lacroix spoke to his ally, the General Superintendent of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police, Takeshi Sato. The conversation went well, and he facilitated her entrance into the evidence room. She went into action, subduing the few guards posted and retrieved the sword. It was reported on television, radio and newspapers that an unidentified tall woman of unusual strength had broken into the police station, subdued two policemen and taken the sword.
