Shintô Nagano was the son of Tsuyochi Nagano, the head of the small Nagano family, whose power was mostly based on sumo stables and fightning bets, the small nightclub was more like a hobby for Shintô Nagano, something to express his artistic side. The beauty of Côté's performance was what attracted Nagano, but it was her surprisingly brilliant mind that made him stay interested.
The Nagano suffered unexpected defeats against their enemies, which started to use unorthodox tactics. Côté suggested some discreet countermeasures that worked. Nagano was intrigued and asked her how she knew so much about battle tactics. She said that the enemies where using guerrilla warfare, and she knew about this, because her French father served on Vietnam.
But, what began as mere interest grew into attraction.
And this was a problem for Côté.
