Yup, very much alike. In my story, Mari's mother is a warrior from the sinister organization called "The Left Hand Society" (blog in portuguese), whose members are all old samurai clans, like the Yamato (emperor's clan), Yagyu, Hatori, Shimazu, Oda, Date, Tokugawa, Takeda, Uesegi, Ouchi, Mori, Imagawa, Asakura, Hojo and.. Azai.

She apparently betrayed the Society. 

Heavy stuff, let's see how Mari and Yaz fares!
