I have strange lighting effects on skin textures, here in this room and also in a few others, Did you experience anything like this? (see attached image)

I think some parameter is wrong in the level definition. Do you have any useful advice?

Note: I'm using the old h5 skin system (for Hook 5 Basic).

No advice sadly and yes I have the same issues here... Didn't use this room in H5 much for screenshots because of that so far. And I also use the old free H5 skin for my Yasmin. Still have to learn how this custom universal skin system for H5 and H5 in general works exactly.

I managed to get it working (the procedure is a bit convoluted in Basic version). I would slowly migrate all my models to it, but I noticed that the face details change drastically and I don't like it...

To preserve the current look, one should convert all stock VX textures for eyebrows, makeup, lipstick and whatnot into hook layers (extracting them from Images,zip). It can be done, but it's the work of months.

And even accepting a radical change of the models, the layers shared by other users require a lot of editing to be adapted for the Basic version.

This is kinda bizarre, because from one side it pulls me towards Hook 5 Pledge, from the other it doesn't (because I want to keep my past models as they are).

I stand corrected: not all textures. Only those actually used by our models (but it's hard to keep track of them).

I use Hook 5 Paid... But my Yasmin just has the normal freebie H5 Example Skin (which comes with the free starter content) in my Hook 5 screenshots. I tried to use the exact same files and "convert" them to a custom skin, but I didn't work (I suspect because I made some errors). That's why I wanna learn how this works: To properly upgrade my Yasmin from her old hook4 days to the world of hook5 skins
