Some observations that you might find useful

I see that that you use a solid colour png to generate individual hair colours - don't know if this is intentional - I usually prefer to have some variaton instead, for more natural looking hairs. The difference is not massive on this hair model, but still noticeable

Also, I see you are not using the tip colour texture in the pass.txt file - this means when using the TipColour feature of H5, you get these solid-coloured strands (like a nylon party wig).

Instead, if you specify the tip texture in pass.txt file, you can create more natural looking strands - again, not a massive, but noticable difference.

But I think the most important thing is that it allows you much more freedom and creativity with your hair colour - like getting this "blonde with dark roots" effect or "rainbow hair raver" colour.
